What is Effective "Legal Triage" in a Public Health Emergency?
This project explores how legal and public health decision makers use law in critical public health emergencies to protect populations from significant morbidity and mortality.
Preparedness is the capability to prevent, prepare, respond and recover from a public health emergency. Preparedness requires government and nongovernmental organizations, communities, and individuals working together to enhance the quality of health. The law can help enforce planning and dictate reaction for future and real-time emergencies like terrorist attacks, disease outbreaks and natural disasters.
Results from grant-funded research projects evaluating public health law issues.
